QA TECHNICIAN

Our client, an international organization is looking to hire a QA Technician whose primary job is to ensure the products and services a company offers to meet corporate, industry, and government standards. In this role, you may examine products, inspect the equipment, talk with employees, and write reports. The incumbent will be working closely with the SUPERVISOR, SR. QA SPECIALIST / QUALITY MANAGER.

Key Responsibilities 

·         Conducts Quality surveillance, audits and inspections IAW the company’s Quality Management Plan (QMP).

·         Generates surveillance, audits and inspection checklist based on Contract’s requirements, to include PWS incorporated references: NFPA, NEC, UFC, etc.

·         Performs and interprets Risk Analysis, Pareto Analysis, and Trend Analysis.

·         Assists the Annexes’ Functional Area Managers (FAM) in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other required procedural documents.

·         Communicates with the USG Performance Assessments Representatives (PAR) in resolving Quality-related issues.

·         Provides recommendations and guidance to the FAMs to meet the performance standards and objectives of the Contract.

·         Develops Flow Charts, Performance Measures, and Data Tables.

·         Drafts Process Improvement Procedures and implements Plans.

·         Generates, submits and files Project Quality documentation and reports.

·         Oversees Annex Quality Control (QC) activities and operations.

·         Assists the Quality Manager (QM) in the overall execution of the QMP

Required Academic Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

· Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.

· Must have valid driver’s license.

· Must be able to speak and compose comprehensible, concise English in a professional business standard.

· Must have the ability to liaise with personnel at all levels including management.

· Having knowledge of ISO Quality Management Standards & Principles is preferable.

· Must be a graduate of a 4-year course of Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

· Extensive experience in other scientific fields and/or technical trades expertise can be used as substitute in lieu of the education requirement (2 years technician level trade experience = 1 year tertiary education).

· Minimum of 3 years in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) functions.

· Extensive experience in other scientific fields and/or technical trades expertise can be used as aggregated experience substitute (2 years technician level trade experience = 1 year QA/QC experience).

· Experience in Quality Conformance Inspection and ISO 9001:2008 Internal Quality Auditing preferred.

· Field inspection experience preferred.
