Chief Executive Officer

Our client a Financial services  leader is looking to recruit for the position of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) , who will be the local point of reference for the Company in Kenya. He/She will be responsible to set and execute the Company’s strategy, allocating capital, as well as building and overseeing the executive team. A vital partner to lead growth of the business to reach its maximum capacity.

Key Responsibilities
•Assisting in communicating and implementing the Company’s vision, mission, and overall direction.
•Participate in the development and implementation of the overall organization’s strategy.
•Mentor and interact with members of staff at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among the senior executive team and all members of staff.
•Soliciting advice and guidance, when appropriate, from the appropriate bodies and consultants.
•Formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business and the organization.
•Overseeing the complete operation of an organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.
•Evaluating the success of the company in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.
•Evaluating the success of the company in reaching its goals.
•Representing the company in civic and professional association responsibilities and activities in the local community, the district or at the national level.
•Participating in industry related events or associations that will enhance the CEO’s leadership skills, the company’s reputation and the company’s potential for success.
•Any further responsibilities / duties that the senior management and the relevant manager of the Windsor corporate group may assign to you during your employment.
Minimum Qualifications/Competencies
• Ability to manage complex projects, and efficiently implement effective business strategies.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience in leading a finance company or related.
• Member of a professional body. Professional bodies can be CMA, ACI, CISI, CIFA with a working knowledge in Forex.
• Proficient in the English language.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Executive presence and ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress environments.
